It is finally happening. On March 5th, Chris and I are moving into our new apartment. We are so excited for this new adventure and this new chapter in our lives. We signed some preliminary paperwork yesterday and are the first on the waiting list, which is why we can't move out until March. We'll post more when we are further along in the process.

Auto Show 2010
Every year since we have been married (we're coming on 4!!!), we have been attending the International (hehehe) Auto Show. This year, we could defenetly tell that the country has not been doing as well because there were less cars then there have been in previous years and there were absolutely no concept cars! Even though it may not have been as impressive as in past years, we still managed to have a blast!

Back To School
Every year on the first day of school, the kids in my family would hold up a piece of paper which said "The First Day of School" with the year below. I have kept this tradition somewhat alive (I forgot this fall and the year before, oops) but I wouldn't forget it this semester because it is a very important semester for me: I should graduate at the end of this semester. I am both filled with joy at being finished with school, but at the same time, I'm a bit nervous because I will be entering on a new stage in my life which does not include formal education and does include work. Both Chris and I are hoping for a good semester and I wouldn't mind if it went by quickly! We'll just have to wait and see!!
New Years
I know it's a little late, but I finally downloaded my pictures from our New Years Eve party. For New Years Eve 2009, Chris and I went down to Highland to spend some time with Chris' Uncle and Aunt who live in the area as well as the Michigan Millers who had driven in to take Lisa, Chris' youngest sister, to BYU-Idaho. We had a great time talking and eating with the Millers. Later that evening, we came back up to Sandy where we played games and the Wii with some of my cousins. It was a great night and a great way to usher in the year 2010! Thanks to everyone for such a fun time! On New Years Day, we went out to breakfast with Chris' parents and my parents and then went shopping where we purchased our own Wii! So far, this year has been filled with lots of friends, family, and laughter!

Welcome 2010!
Happy New Year! I can't believe that it's already 2010!
As we look back at 2009, here are some of our favorite memories:
Getting Chris to sit in a Smart Car at the Car Expo :)
Going to Disneyland, Sea World, Universal Studio's, the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Temple, and visiting Chris' sister Lorie and her husband Adam for spring break.
I became an aunt for the first time
when my adorable niece Lucy was born! Congratulations Brett and Brenda!
Chris' Dad flew out for Grandma Miller's 80th Birthday and Father's Day! It was a wonderful surprise!!
Taking Gir hiking for the first time! He was such a trooper and loved it!
Our amazing 10 day trip to Michigan to visit the Millers! We went
all over the state and got to do some amazing things with amazing people!
For Halloween, Chris and I dressed up
as our favorite TV characters, Agent Booth and Dr. Brennen from Bones.
Chris and I got to try out our
culinary skills when we prepared our very first Thanksgiving Turkey (Chris got to carve it). It turned
out delicious!
In early December, my Dad got his first book published.
All of my siblings were able to come out for Christmas. It was really fun to have everyone home for the holidays!
We had a wonderful New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We got to spend time with the Millers, and we got to have a date day. The New Year started off with a bang and I hope that the good memories keep coming for 2010!
