Today is one of my favorite days of the year...its Chris' birthday! Chris is the most amazing man I've ever met, and I absolutely love celebrating his special day! Chris is the most selfless, funny, thoughtful, intelligent, hard working, and fun loving man that I have ever known. I love him more than words can say. He is a wonderful husband and will be a great father! I love you! Happy Birthday, my love.

Christ rose on the third day and broke the bonds of death. I can't think of anything more miraculous and wonderful to celebrate. We are so grateful for our Savior and everything he has done for us. We hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter and will remember that we celebrate this day because of Christ and the miracle of His resurrection. Love, Chris, Vanessa, Alex, and Gir

Well, this week we had our first homeowner project! The heating unit in our oven broke the other day and we came upon our first challenge. We weren't sure if we should have someone come out and try to fix it, buy a new one, or just try and fix it ourselves. Once we relized that the problem was not that bad, we decided to try and fix it ourselves. Chris ordered the part that we would need and he installed it last night. Our oven works again!!! We can bake once more!!! Good job Chris for being such a handy handyman! So far House: 0 Millers: 1!

Today as I was starting on dinner, I looked out of my kitchen window and saw three deer cheerfully munching on the grass outside! I love our new house!!! We used to be able to see deer from our apartment and I was really sad that we would be leaving them behind, but it looks like they followed us! Hurray!!

Today is a wonderful day! It is a day that we are able to celebrate the most influential woman in my life: my amazing mother. My mother is so amazing because she has a quite strength which guides her family along. She is our rock and we love her so much. She is an amazing cook, organizer, thrift shop guru, and she is an example to all of kindness and thinking of others. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful, thoughtful mother who would do anything and everything for us. I love her very much and am so grateful for the example of motherhood that she is to me, especially since I am soon to be a mother myself. If I can be half the mother to my children that my mother is to my brothers and I, I will consider myself a successful mother. Happy Birthday Mom, I love you so much!

I have started a new blog dedicated to our daughter-to-be Alexandria. I'll be posting updates on her condition, my condition, and how her room is coming along. Most of the information about her will now be posted on this new blog and perhaps briefly on this one. Check it out at: http://alexandria-millertime.blogspot.com/
