Life After Graduation...

Graduation marked a major change in my life, the transition from student to full time employee. Last Monday, I started my first full time job! I am a preservation technician at the Mountain Granite Vault in Little Cottonwood Canyon in Sandy. I am an employee for the Church History sector of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What I do as a preservation technician is copy and send microfilm to various organizations. It has been a little overwhelming trying to learn everything that I am supposed to do, but I have been enjoying it so far. I think that the most difficult thing about this transition is going to be not going to school with Chris in the fall! Hopefully I'll get used to my new job quickly!

Graduation

It has finally happened. I have officially graduated from college! Today was my graduation ceremony and I had a blast! Graduation was from 11:15 until about 2:00 and afterwards we took pictures and went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. At about 6:00, Chris and I had a small gathering in our apartment where we munched on cookies and enjoyed each other's company. It was such a wonderful day and I am so grateful to everyone who flew or drove out to be here on my big day. I feel so loved! I am so grateful for Chris, my biggest fan, who helped me get through the toughest times (when I wanted to quite) and convinced me to keep going. Without him, this day would never have happened. I'm also incredibly grateful to my parents who were there to support me throughout my whole college experience! Thanks Mom and Dad, your love and encouragement, it would have been a lonely road without you. Thanks also to Aunt Donna, Grandpa Prusso, Adam and Lorie Halitzka, and Kathy Miller who all came from out of state to be with me here today. I am so touched by your love and support and today could not have been the wonderful day it was without you. Thank you all and I love you all very much. I'VE GRADUATED! HURRAY!!!

Four Years

Our Wedding
Atlanta, GA
Moab, UT
Anaheim, CA

This coming Thursday, May 6th, marks our 4th wedding anniversary. I can't believe that four years has already passed! It has gone by so fast and we have been able to do some amazing things. We have lived in four different states since we have been married, we have gone on some amazing trips, and we have had some amazing experiences. These four years have taught us a lot about each other and that we still have quite a bit to learn. I can't wait to see what the next year will bring us because as long as I have Chris by my side, our journey together will be quite the adventure. Chris, I love you with all of my heart and I am so blessed to have you in my life. You are my rock, my love, my everything. Happy 4th anniversary!

Tulip Festival

Last Saturday, I had a girl's day with my Mom, Aunt Julie, and cousins Amanda and Liz. We had started our afternoon with a fabulous lunch and then headed over to the Tulip Festival which was held in American Fork. The weather was warm and sunny and the tulips were so beautiful. There were different colors, shapes, and sizes! It was so hard to decide which tulip was the most beautiful because there was such a great variety and all of them were so beautiful. It was a great day full of sunshine, friends, and laughter! Hopefully we will all be able to go next year!
